Which is the most biased news? Hard to tell. But here's some of NBC's lowlights.
Which is the most biased news? Hard to tell. But here's some of NBC's lowlights. They seem to competitive with CNN for most biased network, and surpasses it if you throw in MSNBC/MSDNC.

FakeNews

🗒️ Note:
FakeNews (Junk News or yellow journalism) is when legitimate stories or facts are suppressed, journalistic standards aren't adhered to, half truths are told, or a narrative spun to where the story becomes misleading or false. Think: manufactured crises, hoaxes, clickbait (sensational teasers/headlines with buried facts), bias or selective fact-checking, anonymous or paid sources, minor stories obscuring more significant news, delaying or ignoring newsworthy events, are all forms of FakeNews. Most retractions or corrections are evidence of shoddy standards and/or editorial bias creating FakeNews.

Examples of NBC getting it wrong include:

  • 2016.11.14 Fake Homophobic note at Chicago's North Park University - Taylor Volk, a bisexual senior at Chicago's North Park University, claimed she was the recipient of a homophobic note and anonymous hate emails by "Trump supporters". After NBC had sensationalized it, it came out that Taylor had faked it herself.
  • 2017 Republicans funded the Dossier - FakeNews repeated leftist agitprop that the Republicans funded the PeePee Dossier, thus it must be true. It was Hillary all along. Yet the media kept repeating the lie, or slow-rolling or burying the corrections. No social media punished anyone for repeating the disinformation that it was Republican-funded.
  • 2017.05.25 NATO - Trump criticized European Countries for doding their responsibilities to NATO, they startled slacking on their obligations slightly less, and came up with more money. The Press, Left and EU blamed Trump for hurting NATO by pointing out their failures and demanding they do better, white NATO confesses they got $100B and stronger because of it.
  • 2017.08.31 Manafort 'Donations' - NBC News hyped as a “bombshell” last week, that the, “Manafort Notes From Russian Meet Contain Cryptic Reference to ‘Donations'”. This could be pay-to-play and impeachment. Then they issued a confusing correction (same day) that they meant to say "Donor". Only that didn't appear in the original either. And WaPo slammed NBC for trashy journalism.
  • 2018.05.03 Cohen Wiretap - MSNBC/NBC broke the story, "“Feds tapped Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s phones,” -- and later altered the story to say, "Feds are monitoring, not listening to Cohen’s calls”: Instead of a wiretap, investigators obtained what’s known as a pen register warrant, where they get to see a log of calls made and durations, not audio of what was said.
  • 2018.10.12 Robert E. Lee - Trump does a speech in Ohio, on how great Ulysses S. Grant was a great Ohio native. And to do so, you mention the greatness of the foes he overcame: so in passing, he mentioning that Robert E. Lee was a great general... and was defeated by Grant. NBC spun that sentence fragment into a “WATCH: President Trump says ‘Robert E. Lee was a great general’". FakeNews.
  • 2018.11.04 SNL Hit Piece - Trump never mocked a disabled Reporter, Saturday Night Live did. Here's SNL star Pete Davidson mocking GOP congressional candidate Dan Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL who lost an eye fighting in Afghanistan. Davidson referred to Crenshaw as looking like “a hitman in a porno movie.” Keeping it classy.
  • 2019.02.01 Ignoring Booker's lies - While the Press will never pass up an opportunity to attack any minor exaggeration or error on the right, when they have an opportunity to question a serial liar (Booker), they carry his water instead and gloss over his past. (FakeNews). 🙈
  • 2019.02.05 SOTU 2019 - The State of the Union speech was a little late (thanks to Nancy's shutdown), but it got delivered. Trump took the high road, Nancy/Dems took the lower one. Trump got a 76% approval, and higher ratings that 2018 or Obama, on a longer and deeper speech. FakeNews and the Fake FactCheckers proved their bias.
  • 2019.03.08 AOC Campaign Finance Scandal - AOC and Saikat Chakrabarti (Chief of staff, former campaign chair), appear to have obtained majority control of Justice Democrats PAC in December 2017, raised more than $1.8M (and was responsible for her win), and illegally diverted more than $1M of those funds. This is the Dark Money that AOC ran on curtailing, not to mention potential fraud. The media isn't interested.
  • 2019.03.11 NBC puff-piece on racism - The NBC spin was that Ilhan's anti-Israeli commends aren't racist, because her district doesn't see them as a problem. Buried in 6 paragraphs into the article are hints that many are having problems with her racist comments. Others (WaPo, SFGate, etc), who have looked into think NBC is whitewashing it, as they found more serious concerns.
  • 2019.03.28 Yashar Ali bullied - Yahir (NYT/HuffPo contributor) explains how head of NBC/MSNBC politics (Dafna Linzer) called Ali, and tried to bully him on behalf of the DNC, in what was a wildly inappropriate and unethical way. Of course neither she, nor the network would comment on this atrociously partisan behavior.
  • 2019.09.25 Hiding the Abortionist - Indiana/Illinois abortionist (Ulrich Kopfer) died on Sept. 3, and 2,246 aborted babies were founded neatly labeled and preserved (as trophies), and the media all but suppressed (ignored) it. The bias in suppressing the story is nearly as disgusting as the story itself.
  • 40 Hour work week - The left thinks the Unions/Government gave us the 40 hour work week. It was standardized a decade before by Henry Ford (Capitalism). By the time we had the FSRA, it applied to less than 20% of the population. The Government created a regulation for the very few remaining, and took credit for something that was already done, and leftist media repeated the lie and the non-skeptical gobbled it up.
  • Abu Bakr al-Baghadai - The founder of ISIS died by blowing himself up as U.S. special forces were closing in. The leftstream media fucked up reporting this victory as much possible, calling Al-Baghdadi a religious scholar, claiming this would help ISIS, or complaining that Trump didn't tell anti-Americans (Pelosi/Schiff) about the raid in advance, so they could leak it to our enemies.
  • Believe all women/Forced Hair Cutting - A 6th Grade Virginia Private school girl (who was black) accused three white classmates last week of forcibly cutting her hair... and that made national news. Now the accuser admits the allegations were false. The problem isn't just with the people who cry wolf, it's with the FakeNews media sensationalizes these stories for clicks (chasing the algorithm before fact checking).
  • Covington High School Confrontation - NYT and MSM published an article claiming Covington HS kids mobbed a Native American and an Indigenous People's march. All false. The truth is the story was almost completely flipped; obnoxious activists attacked the kids for right to life march, got in their face, and they remained calm. Later they sued for Defamation and won, bigly for the FakeNews Medias lies.
  • Dateline rigged GM trucks to Explode (1992) - Dateline NBC rigged GM trucks to explode by overfilling the tank, putting the wrong gas cap on, and using a model rocket engines to sell a story that they were unsafe, and had to settle a defamation suit filed by GM.
  • Deceptive editing of Barr video - 05/10/2020 Chuch Todd deceptively edited a video of Bill Barr, and omitted the context that Todd goes on to criticize Barr over. Whether Todd was trying to entrap his interviewee, just make Barr look bad, bury the evidence that it was a good ruling, or all of the above, that's not what anyone that calls themselves a Journalist is supposed to do.
  • FakeNews about Cagegate - This FakeNews fiasco was the fallacy that Trump's new immigration policy was breaking up families and putting kids in cages. The omitted reality was criminals (border jumpers) have always had the kids separated from the adults, as you aren't sure who are parents, and detaining both in the same place risks harm to children. The media even used faked propaganda images from Obama era to sell it.
  • Richard Jewell - Richard Jewell was a security guard and police officer famous for his role in the events surrounding the Centennial Olympic Park bombing at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. While working as a security guard for the Olympics, he discovered a backpack containing three pipe bombs and alerted police and helped evacuate the area before the bomb exploded, saving many people from injury or death.
  • Jussie Smollett - 💩 Jussie (star on "Empire") was allegedly assaulted by far left clichés in Gay Area of Chicago, at 2 AM, "this is MAGA country", then stopped the attack for no reason. It defied logic. The left lost their nut when the right said it defied logic. Then it came out that it was staged by two body building friends of Jussies. The left called everyone racist for not buying it.
  • Katie Hobbs break-in (2022) - Katie Hobbs (Kari Lakes opponent) had a campaign break in, blamed Kari Lake, FakeNews ran with it. Kari is the front-runner by 11 points, was at an event, she had zero need. The perp (an illegal immigrant) was arrested, released, no ties to Kari, no evidence it was politically motivated. Kari ripped the disinterested media a well deserved "new one" over the event.
  • Kavanaugh Hysterics - The left was outraged that Kavanaugh would defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, including the left. So they coordinated their attacks against Kavanaugh, and his character, long before any investigation had showed anything wrong with his rulings. In fact, they never really went after his rulings, just his character.
  • Muslim Ban - After a series of Terrorist attacks, Trump put a pause on immigration from terrorist countries until we could get better vetting. This was based on recommendations made during the Obama administration. And it wasn't an attack on the religion, it was an attack on the countries that wouldn't help us vet who was coming in. But FakeNews outlets spun it.
  • NBC Goons beat a guy up for anti-Clinton T-Shirt - Guy wore anti-Bill Clinton T-Shirt to NBC Today Show, and was bloodied and bruised by NBC security. When he complained, NBC retorted that wearing that shirt, he was asking for it. There is a lawsuit.
  • NBC on Guns - NBC doesn't understand the differences between an AR-15, and a pump action shotgun -- they ran a clip with someone blowing up a watermelon with a shotgun and saying "AR-15". Not only wasn't a fact checker used, but not a single person in their editorial staff knew the basics enough to recognize their own gaffe.
  • Tom Brokaw/Hispanics and Conservatives - Brokaw on Meet the Press barbed Republicans with a lie, '[they] don't want brown grandbabies'. And then slurred hispanics with, "Hispanics should work harder at assimilation". When confronted on the former, he ignored his own lie... but confronted on the latter, he apologized for telling the truth. Full Brokaw.
  • Trumps Baltimore Criticisms - Trump tweeted (paraphrased) two facts: (1) Rep, Elijah Cummings bullied border agents (2) Cummings Baltimore district is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. And maybe he should focus on cleaning up that dangerous & filthy place. Well, the left and their media (CNN, NBC, NYT, and other FakeNews) hates truth. So they screamed, "Racism" to distract.

People[edit | edit source]

  • Tom Brokaw - Once considered the paragon of a fair Journalism (at least to the gullible or left), history has shown how partisan and biased he was all along. Also sexual aggressor (according to MeToo).
  • Chris Matthews - Chris Matthews, he's ignorant, dishonest, and holds 34 honorary degrees, and one real one (liberal arts). A female assistant producer on his CNBC show (circa 1999) accused him of sexual harassment, and Matthews was reprimanded and she was awarded a $40,000 settlement. A a partisan, gaff machine, and sexual harasser, he's been the recipient of many leftist accolades in journalism.
  • Andrea Mitchell - The smartest voice on NBC/MSNBC? Alan Greenspan's wife Carries water for the left, attacks the right, she's got all the makings of a MSNBC reporter. She claims the Democratic Socialists of America aren't Socialists even if they call themselves such and want to take all your things.
  • Lawrence O'Donnel - He started his careers as a Pat Moynihan's page. A classic DC joke was, "Why don't congressmen use bookmarks? Because they like their pages bent-over"... and that explains Lawrence O'Donnel's reflex for bending over for any Democrat who came on his show. Being a socialist made him a nasty human to anyone else.
  • Keith Olbermann - Long history of hyper-partisan distortions, out of context lies of omission, and rhetorical flourishes of Ron Poleil. The best thing we can say about him is he's becoming more and more of a has been, by the year. Of course it's sad, since he should be a never been. And that he was ever relevant is an embarassment to journalism, and the organizations he touched.
  • Stephanie Ruhle - Stephanie got all the brightest minds together at MSNBC, and tried to explain what assault rifles are. An average shooter could have done better at age 9. The she went on to lecture us about the dangers of AR-15 bullets... and got all the basics completely wrong.
  • Chuck Todd - A college drop-out and NBC partisan moderator of NBC's Meet the Press (and on-air political analyst), ex-Chief White House correspondent for MSNBC, and Political Director for NBC News. Which makes him a partisan with some sketchy events posing as Journalism.
  • Katy Tur - (D) NBC/MSNBC correspondent/anchor. Famous by dating far-lefty Keith Olbermann. Has no clue on Republican positions, and what semiautomatic or Glock means before talking about guns. Thinks "Glock" defines a rate of fire, instead of a brand. This is worse because questions are scripted, so her entire organization didn't know better either.
