Facts[edit | edit source]

  • The media inflated the numbers to 867 by including everyone that tripped or was trampled running away. (Only about 411 were hit with bullets or shrapnel).
  • Motive/Politics unknown.
    • Ex Wives claimed he was depressed. Investigators said he was obsessed with cleanliness and possibly had bipolar disorder. His doctor had offerened anti-depressants, but he refused (taking only anti-Anxiety meds.
    • Some evidence he'd lost a lot of wealth.
    • One ex said he didn't like Obama and was happy when Trump won. All said he wasn't politically active. But a career government worker, and someone shooting at Country Music folks is more likeyl to lean left than right.
    • ISIL claimed responsibility for the shooting, claiming Paddock was Abu Abdul Barr al-Amriki. Law enforcement says no evidence of that.
  • Father (Benjamin Paddock) was an American bank robber and con man who was on the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list from 1969 to 1977. [1]
  • Brother was arrested for Child Pornography. And some was found on a laptops in his room. [2]
  • He'd done setup for days, had an arsenal. Had no record. Screwed the doors closed to his room (to prevent breaching). He had materials for explosives (tanerite and amonium nitrate) in the trunk of his car, but never assembled bombs, or could have done far more damage.
  • Paddock fired eight bullets at a large jet fuel tank at Harry Reid International Airport 2,000 feet away. And while one penetrated, Jet Fuel is unlikely to ignite when hit by a bullet, and didn't.
  • It took the police 65 minutes to respond/breach. Fortunately, Sephen had killed himself after 10 minutes of firing into the crowd.
  • 5 Years after the event, the FBI/etc has never release a motive. Are they incompetent, was he that mecurial, or is there a conspiracy to suppress the information? (a) he was anti-religious (b) he would cheat on his taxes (and was an IRS agent) (c) he was a self-centered, eccentric jerk who always thought he was the smartest person in the room. All hint strongly at left leaning. (d) an FBI agent said on the record that he fit the profile of someone recruited by anti-American terorism (ISIS), and they believe that's the motive (90%). Since that doesn't benefit Democrats controlling the FBI, the information has been suppressed from the public. [3]
