Emmy Awards are the TV version of the Oscars.
The TV's Oscar's has seen their viewership crash over the last decade to 1/3rd the number that used to watch (18M to <6M viewers). Why is that? Well they alienated over 1/2 their audience with Woke Bullshit. The TV shows are boring rehashes of older ideas with wokeness injected in them, and the stars will predictibly lecture viewers. What could do wrong?

How does "Get Woke" work in ratings? Seems that "Go Broke" is an accurate follow up... about 1/3rd the viewers today than a decade ago, despite a growing population, and the ease of skipping over parts you don't care about and commercials (streaming, DVR, etc).

Conclusion[edit | edit source]

If you lost twice as many customers as you currently have, would that be a signal that you're doing something wrong? Not to Hollywood. The more woke and political they get, the more boring and like a bad school project the shows become. But Progressives are anything but willing to learn and grow.

Hollywood
Hollywood was created in 1886 by H. J. Whitley, based on a Chinese-American's broken English reply that he was Hauling Wood.

Slacktivism
Slacktivism is about pretending you're fully woke, but never being able to measure up. If you are fully woke, you are soon out of business.

Award Shows
Award shows are so that insecure leftists can pat themselves on the back and tell themselves they matter. They don't.
