French tries to downplay the Twitter Files, then is embarrassed and deletes his own tweets, gets schooled.

- Claims "Musk is referring here to Biden team requests to remove pornographic pictures of Hunter. Biden was not president in 2020, and therefore there was no government involvement in his campaign's requests. The First Amendment is not implicated when only private actors are involved." -- repeating the leftist talking point that this was a nothingburger.

- It was never abouyt protecting Hunter Biden’s dignity
- By focusing on the pornographic photos of Hunter Biden, they are whitewashing the evidence of the Biden administration’s extremely shady foreign dealings. Good leftist talking point, completely dishonest/leftist representation of what happened.
- He deleted the tweet claiming, "Deleted this tweet because I meant to say Biden *campaign* not Biden administration, yet my edit button disappeared! Of course if the Biden *administration* asks Twitter to take action, then we need to think through the 1A implications."
Again, a naive distinction without a difference. The campaign is the pre-administration. The problem is government agents collaborating with a campaign OR administration to suppress the truth.
So once again, French is taking a far left view of events, repeated their narratives and was wrong.
