Charlottesville Race Riot

Lies: (1) Charlottesville was all about race (2) Trump supported the White Supremacists.
There's always two sides to History, that of the informed and the other side. Hate is taught, and the left is being taught hate through the media disinformation. Charlottesville had a few lies (1) it was about race (for most peopel) (b) Trump is a racist and praised the Neo-Nazi's (he actively denounced them in his first Press Conference).

Left Right
The left's version of history is that the KKK/Racists/Alt-Right/Trump supporters (all synonymous), held a huge rally (with many thousands), over a racist idol being removed. Then the KKK attacked the peaceful counter-protestors, and drove a car into a crowd, and murdered an innocent woman. The smug President claimed there were good people on both sides and defended the White Supremacists/KKK because he didn't want to alienate his supporters. And thus anyone that doesn't denounce him is a racist/Nazi by proxy. The small rally was against the destruction of our history (a Robert E. Lee statue). Like the Women's Marches were organized by terrorist supporters and anti-semites, this rally was organized by White Nationalists but most of the attendees didn't know that. It only turned violent because Antifa showed up and started assaulting people, and the Democrat controlled cops corralled the two groups together until a riot broke out. After one person was surrounded, assaulted, and his car was hit with a baseball bad, he sped away, and into a crowd, killing one girl. The President immediately condemned the violence, explicitly condemned the Neo-Nazi's, and anyone (FakeNews) that denied that is a liar, fool or a propagandist.

Facts[edit | edit source]

The Press intentionally misreporting that. And the left (including Joe Biden) repeated the lie, knowing better for years.

  • Antifa started violence at a Unite the Right Rally - After Antifa had had many violent assaults on Trump supporters, there was a "Unite the Right" rally: a march to protest the destruction of history (a Robert E. Lee statue) by a far-left Democrat administration in Charlottesville, Va.
  • Some of the organizers/participants were white nationalists, but many of the attendees didn't know that. (Just like the Women's Marches were organized by far left anti-Semites, but most of those marchers didn't know that either). And some of the marchers came ready to fight back against Antifa. A few of the marchers were chanting anti-Semitic things, and a few of the fliers had some questionable imagery: and the Press picked up on that group. But that's not the context that most people saw/understood.
  • The Cops herded the two groups together (terrorist group Antifa, and the protestors)... and they fought.
  • The media omitted Antifa from their reporting, as well as the majority of the attendees which were not White separatists, and instead focused that David Duke had been involved and his comments.
  • Immediately after the violence the First Lady tweeted, "no good comes from violence".
  • A couple hours later, Trump tweeted, "We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for. There is no place for this kind of violence in America. Lets come together as one!”
  • Then Trump took another break and had a four-minute statement that began: “We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides.” Trump also offered condolences for the victims (and their families).
  • Many other Republicans had denounced the violence, including calling out the White Separatists explicitly.

The far-left media, that was still lying by omission by not mentioning that Antifa or the Cops actions in any of this, attacked Trump for "on many sides" as not singling out only the White Supremacists (as if they were the only problem). But of course Trump denounced both sides. After the histrionics of the far left, Trump came out and said again, "And you had people, and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis or the white nationalists because they should be condemned totally. But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, ok?"

Still the Press has ignored that, and spun it that there were no good people in the protest that night. Pretended that there was no valid complaint against destroying statues. Covered up Antifa's part in the violence. Distorted what happened and why. And that's a problem.

  • Who started the violence? The KKK and white supremacists (and other asshats) have been having non-violent rally's for decades. Why was this one different? A: Because the DNC sponsored black-mask wearing Antifa has had violence at every single rally they turn up at, with their slogan, "punch a nazi in the face". (And a Nazi is anyone they disagree with). Antifa intentionally goes armed and masked goes to disrupt opposition rally's and to start fights (just like the brown/black shirt fascists did). Since this rally was attended by Antifa, it was going to end in violence. However, after dozens of assaults by Antifa, this time some of the other side was geared and ready too. If you don't know that this conflict was because of the left's aggression, after a series of escalating attacks by them, then you've been lied to: the context for what happen was either intentionally or incompetently omitted.

  • KKK / Neo-Nazi's - This wasn't the KKK or NeoNazi's, this was organized by the far more moderate white nationalists, which aren't the same thing as White Supremacists, though there can be some overlap. The press intentionally muddles the two, but it's like pretending that all Socialists are National Socialists (Nazi's). They aren't. This is either stupid, or deceptive. And the reason they showed up, is they were agitated by the Democrats Attempts to imitate ISIS and destroy another hundred year old statue because it didn't fit with their revisionist history. The press pretended it was a march against minorities, but that's not what most of those who casually read the fliers and attended likely thought it was about.

  • A right winger was killed too - The same week, a DNC supporting progressive bigot (Clayton Carter) murdered his Trump supporting neighbor in cold blood. The media ignored this story completely, to sensationalize a Girl's manslaughter at this rally, because it fit their political agenda. If you haven't heard of this, it proves the medias bias, as this was more gruesome than the other murder the same week, that you did hear about. [1]

  • Size - Something like 8x as many people (≈9K) showed up to a Brony Convention that was held at the same time. Seriously, guys that like My Little Pony was a bigger event that all the alt-right'ers, and a few hundred other people, who were validly upset that history was being destroyed at the alter of Political Intolerance. The only reason this was newsworthy was because Antifa was able to turn a non-violent march into another violent riot.

  • Permits and Police - The White nationalists got permits and show up at a rally, where they were attacked by Antifa: who did NOT have permits. And the police not only do nothing to stop it, but they use the lack of Antifa permits to clear the park... and push the white nationalists into the Antifa mob... which resulted in many assaults against the protestors, and THAT caused a riot. All at the behest of the leftist local Democrat government that wanted this to happen. Places that don't want violence, try to keep two protesting groups apart, not push them together. This was a major failure of the police/local government.

  • Assault, and then battery - After a pro-statuary guy was assaulted at the event, and trying to leave in his car, he got routed into Antifa mob by the cops. The mob was yelling and screaming at him, and after one hit his car with a baseball bat, he drove into the crowd (probably in a rage, but could have been in panic: there were conflicting reports on that).Again: major context changer. We have no reason to believe that this was premeditated, but that's how the Press/left spun it. We do know it only happened after there was premeditated terrorism/assault by Antifa, and the Press omitted that context.

Robert E. Lee[edit source]

Anti-Slavery Southern General (more so than Lincoln), when the Southern Military Leadership wanted to disolve into the mountains and hills and continue a decades long Guerilla war, he shamed them into surrender and ending the Civil War. His plantation became Arlingon Cemetary. The left wants to cancel him because they are ignorant of what he did, and why.

Conclusion[edit | edit source]

While I'm not a fan of the caustic white nationalists (or their rally's), and I suspect most of them wouldn't be fond of an Iranian guy with a Muslim father, the facts still matter. And the facts include:

  • The President came out and said that the media (FakeNews) was getting the story wrong, because they were. The President denounced the hate "on both sides", and also said there were "good people on both sides". But he specifically said, "I'm not talking about the Neo-Nazi's", multiple times. He said it again in follow-up questions. Watch just before the 2:00 minute mark.
  • The media got the story wrong, as have all my well intentioned friends ranting about how wrong this is, without a clue as to what happened (or a willingness to ignore their sides culpability in it). Anyone that reported he defended the Neo-Nazi's, or deny that he denounced them, is either ignorant or a liar. CNN especially misreported this for years, and rarely corrects the record. NYT, WaPo, etc., have also gone overtime on perverting this for their rubes/readers.
  • I've seen far more angry haters on the left than the right. Which is NOT to say "your side is worse" and use moral equivalency -- it's to point out that justice needs to be blind and we need to use consistent moral and legal standards. There are bad forces on both sides, and this violence wouldn't have happened if the Alt-Left (Antifa) hadn't shown up, intent on committing violence.
  • The Supreme Court, history and any moral standard says that there is no exception on free speech for hate speech. Free speech only counts when you're letting people you disagree with, have their voice. Either you have a 1st Amendment and one group of fascists gets to complain when another group of fascists is destroying historical monuments, or you do not have free speech. The left is against free speech.

If you know the facts, the President's response was not unreasonable. The day after the event, the President was getting reports that antifa started it, with the help of the cops, and the media was complicit in a lie about what happened. So he said everyone should calm the fuck down (both sides should stop the violence). I agree. The sane should agree. The left will never agree -- because it breaks their premise that they are never wrong, and thus they never have anything to do with what goes wrong.

❝ If you want fewer Nazis, emphasize they're fringe loonies widely rejected on the right. If you want more Nazis, claim that all right-wingers are closet Nazis. By slandering the right, the media is brazenly helping Neo-Nazi's recruit. Selling a narrative that half the country wants to kill you, pushes them to become more radical (in self-defense). The media is irresponsibly sensationalizing and feeding the beast of hate. ❞

So we're divided: those that care about fairness to both sides, and those that listen to the Democrat media have radically different views. One is informed, and the other is the Democrats view of the event. And the media doesn't realize that their overreactions and dishonest is immunizing Trump against them. After they lie a few dozen times, the informed just stop listening to them: like I tune out any idiots that think Trump didn't denounce Neo-Nazi's or that he defended them (when he did the opposite). You can't reason with stupid, so I just mentally put up the "talk to the hand" sign, while I smile and nod and think, "how do these people function without hurting themselves?"

The media was intentionally not reporting the truth (or at least both sides of it), and they weren't going to start just because the President told them to. They were going to find any excuse to attack him and they did. But this polarizes the left-media defenders against the informed (that know better). Facts won't convince the left, and lies won't convince the right -- so we're are an impasse. But I have to think that the truth will win out long term, and that doesn't bode well for the Democrats.

Was Charlottesville a False Flag effort?[edit source]

Main article: Was Charlottesville a False Flag effort?
While a little conspiratorial that the whole Charlottesville thing was all a false flag effort by the far left, there's no doubt that the FBI and DNC leftists were involved in inflaming and blaming. (And that's what most mean when they say it). So I don't buy that it was all false flag, there's no doubt there were some agitators and entrapment agents in the crowd.
