* Enter the first pagename in the Search Bar. Example: "13 Hours: The secret soldiers in Benghazi"...
  • this should give you a menu with the top line being bold (select it), and the bottom line saying "containing" (ignore and pick the top line)
  • That will load the page
  • Click the "Edit" Page
* Click the URL https://www.igeek.wiki/wiki/Form:Item
  • In the field type the new file name: 13 Hours: The secret soldiers in Benghazi
  • That will take you to the "Create Item:" page, with fields where you can put informaiton.
* Immediately after <includeonly> is the image block [[Image:13Hours.jpg|right|96px]]
  • Copy the Image File Name
* In the Image field, type in "File:" and paste the file name "13Hours.jpg"
* Copy the paragraph after <includeonly> and before </includeonly>
  • do not copy the [[Image:...]] part of that block please
* Paste that in the Summary field.
* If you can, just write a single 1 line summary of the summary paraphraph and put it in the 1Liner field, or use one sentance that seems to be the most relevant.
  • Don't worry too much about this too much, if you I don't like, I can just change it, you've still helped a lot without this. But if if you can quickly sum it up, it can break up the monotony of data entry.
* Summary was: "A documentary by Michael Bay? What is this world coming to? While it seems like an oxymoron, and there was plenty of explosions and some jitter-camera effects, it was more Saving Private Ryan and true to history than anything Oliver Stone or Michael Moore has done, and those are called documentaries. And it was a good motive, and mostly historically accurate based on the people that were there. So worth seeing, if you want to see an action film based on real life events."
  • 1Liner could be: "Mostly historically accurate action film based on real life events. Worth seeing."
* Select and copy everything from after the <noinclude> until the == References ==
    • There might a few that don't have the == References == but use {{Ref}}
  • Note: Some of these files will have an image there, some willl have it earlier. If the first thing after the <noinclude> is an image [[Image:13Hours.jpg|right]], skip that too.
* Paste/replace the body text, with what you just copied
  • NOTE: The body field is the blank box in the center that has
    <nowiki>

{{Show Facts}} {{Show Articles_all}} {{Show People}}

{{Show Memes|[[Category:Memes/Places/Hollywood]]|Heading=Memes}}{{Linebreak}}</nowiki> -- just replace all that stuff.
* Copy all the links/references. That will be everything before after == References == and before the first [[Category: * Paste those links in the Links field
* Copy each category (except for "New", if it exists) from the source page
  • Ignore the formatting around the Categrory... so [[Category:Reviews]] defines a category called, "Reviews", just copy the content.
  • So the page startes with three categories [[Category:Reviews]][[Category:Movies]][[Category:Documentaries]] - we only care about the text Reviews, Movies, Documentaries.
* Paste (or type) each category into the Categories field.
  • As you type one, you can press the comma or return to end that category... "Reviews"[return] Will create a little box (with a check at the beginning) that says "x Reviews". That means you did it right.
* Close the Window * Cick the "Save page" button at the bottom.
