This place is fun and famous with long lines and a delicious soupy (and pricey) dim sum.
This place is fun and famous. There's often long lines. I've had a lot of dim sum over the years, and this place was definitely more upscale than most (in price and quality). Their little soupy pork wontons are great. I would definitely eat here again. But the lines limit the times that I'd go, and make the experience less enjoyable.

This place is fun and famous. There's often long lines, and long waits or too much trouble getting in, sucks the fun out for me. (Some people like the being seen or exclusivity factor. I'm not that person).

I've had a lot of dim sum over the years: Grandma and I used to go on Sunday's growing up: to L.A. China-Town. I've tried just about everything at least once: chicken feet, tripe, etc. People are ingenious at making food taste good.

Din Tai Fung's famous dumplings are pork, with a soup inside. They're fun, and tasty.

We went with friends that knew what to order and how. And they had a bunch of other dumplings and sides we tried, this little cucumber salad was wonderful. My favorite Dim Sum has always been siu bao surprisingly, that was the least inspired/good thing I had here. But everything else was great. I would definitely eat here again. .
