Rust Shooting

From iGeek
Gun outline.svg
Alec Baldwin negligently shot two coworkers on the set of the upcoming movie (Rust), and kills his director.
After multiple warnings of poor gun safety protocols, Alec Baldwin fails to clear a weapon and fires a live round at his director, killing her, and wounding a coproducer. FakeNews makes excuses.

We don’t need gun control, we need actor control.

Facts[edit source]

  • Alec was both the producer and the actor. Both had a responsibility to safety check the other.
  • SAG rules: "Treat all weapons as though they are loaded and/or ready to use. Do not play with weapons and never point one at anyone, including yourself." [1]
  • Always check to see if a gun is clear, yourself.
  • The gun is always loaded / never point it at anything you don’t want to destroy - at any time. [2]
  • This was not a "prop-gun" as the media lied. This was a gun that they were target practicing with on breaks (in violation of all safety protocols). [3]
  • The camera crew had walked off the set becuase of a lack of safety. [4]
  • There were 3 other accidental discharges before the fatal one (they ignored warning signs). [5]

  • Forensics shows that Baldwin lied and his finger was on the trigger, he did shoot her, it was gross neglegence on his part, and he still hasn't been charged with a crime (that's for us little people). [11]
🗒️ Note:
Alec never missed an opportunity to be a dick towards others over guns, so karma is a bitch. Alec deserves only the treatment he would give/demand for anyone else but himself.

Results[edit | edit source]

Knowing that, and what people have testified to about the shooting, Alec is guilty of gross negligent manslaughter. The only question is whether there will be justice for it.[12]

  • No person with basic gun safety points a gun at another human and pulls the trigger without checking/validating that the gun is clear/safe, no matter what someone else told them. Even for the camera. Period.
  • Beyond that, this wasn’t even for a scene where shooting at the director was required — it was where Alec was fucking around after scene, and the director said “cut” and Alec mocked her by shooting her, only it was a loaded gun. And that’s precisely why you never point a gun at someone else and pull the trigger.
  • He broke SAG rules, gun safety rules, and the rules of anyone that has ever been around guns.
  • A producer (Alec) should fire an actor (Alec) that points a gun at another person and fires.
  • The actor (Alec) should quit if the producer (Alec) doesn't hire good safety personal or enforce good safety practices.
  • The producer (Alec) is responsible for not fixing the crews concerns.
  • And many other actors have come forward and admitted that their gun wranglers (safety officers) always showed them a weapon was clear as handing it to them, and expected them to validate it. And even then, the shooter doesn't point it at another person, unless the scene ABSOLUTELY requires it. (And it almost never will, as you can fix it with camera angles).

Conclusion[edit | edit source]

The far left, and their media will lie about this, and pretend it is all the armorer's fault. (And there was fault there). And point to things like Nick Cage's prior problem with the armorer, and so on. But Alec hired him, and should have fired him. More than that, it doesn't matter if you wife tells you to rob a bank or speed: if you rob a bank or speed, you're guilty. Those trying to carry Baldwin's water are ignoring that.

So the case would go like this with any informed jury:

  • Q:did you point the gun at someone and pull the trigger?
  • A:Yes.

That’s criminal gross negligence that lead to death and maiming: manslaughter. The only question is HOW negligent, and how much punishment he deserves. Remember, this was far more reckless/dangerous than drunk driving (even if your friend told you that you didn’t seem too drunk to drive).

If this was a white kid that brought a gun to school to show his friends, and accidentally killed someone, the left would be demanding the child and the parents be held accountable. But Alec Baldwin is no child, and thus should be held to a far higher standard.

If this was a conservative that had accidentally shot a liberal being negligent, Alec Baldwin would be calling for his head. And I think Justice should be blind, and treat Alec as it would anyone else.
