2020.02.22 What if Trump won't leave?

From iGeek
Propagating a lie is to scare your audience with falsehoods is called FakeNews.
A good example of Fake News is propagating a lie to scare your audience with falsehoods... like the article, "What Would Happen If Trump Refused to Leave Office? A peaceful transfer of power is necessary for American democracy to survive." Then write an article pretending to debunk that, but really use it as an excuse to both plant and fertilize that seed of doubt.

Facts[edit | edit source]

  • The Atlantic wrote a hit piece, "What Would Happen If Trump Refused to Leave Office? A peaceful transfer of power is necessary for American democracy to survive."
  • They use the premise to throw in lots of barbs om why this was the worst President ever... in an election year. Of course that's not true by any objective measure, but the Atlantic isn't objective, and their audience isn't bright enough to demand objectivity, or they'd be out of business already.
  • The right and left discussed Obama not leaving office when his 2 terms were up, find an article where The Atlantic wrote an article about that, and used it to trash that President or his allies. You won't find it, because while it was just as plausible, it didn't fit their agenda.
  • The whole point of the article was a Fake Fact Check... where they claim they're just validating that he couldn't opt-out of leaving, and the nation would just throw him out. But we knew that before if we weren't Atlantic readers. Then they use that as cover for a hit piece, or to imply that he doesn't want to leave, and so on. It's all cover for "Orangeman≈BAD!"
